Single-Cell Bioinformatician / Scientist

Waltham, MA

We are seeking a candidate with excellent computational and data analysis skills and a high aptitude for applications and technologies for single-cell genomics. The position will play a role in development, optimization, validation, and support of products (including software) and protocols. Specific responsibilities will include: (1) bioinformatics processing and analysis of single-cell datasets; (2) participating in the development and support of analysis pipelines and customer-facing software; (3) analysis of experiments and projects that develop, test, and optimize molecular biology workflows; and (4) perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting support of customer applications and data.

Biotechnology Laboratory Technician

Waltham, MA

We are seeking a candidate with strong general biotech laboratory skills, good organization practices and mindset, and capability for careful and diligent execution of protocols and project assignments. This position will be responsible for supporting manufacturing and R&D operations including: (1) functional testing and execution of steps to manufacture high-value life science products; and (2) participation in development and testing of new molecular assay and consumable products. Working closely with the rest of the Honeycomb team, responsibilities will include: (1) execution of NGS library preparation protocols, (2) execution of work instructions for prototyping and manufacturing the HIVE consumable, (3) administration and oversight of lab operations tasks including: inventory management, equipment qualification, and systems for safety and efficiency, and (4) participating in development and validation testing of protocols and kits.

Manufacturing Associate

This position will address a number of essential functions for manufacturing Honeycomb’s single-use device product. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple steps of production and assembly of the device including photolithography, chemical processing, and assembly. Other responsibilities will likely include quality control testing, reagent filling, and packaging/kitting.
